| Ok this is a wird questiona nd may be dumb. I have a frind that is building his first AR. He has a mill spec lower with a standard PSA lower kit so all he needs is an upper and ammo. At this point the said he wanted to do a 308 cal. After talking with some people he has been told he can not do this with his lower. I looed around on teh site and it looks like this is true if i have read right. I wanted to see what you guys thoughts were on teh best cal close to 308 that will work with his set up. |

That way he still has a .30 rifle.
