Just noticed this cleaning my rifle today. What kind of wear can I expect on the cam pin? Looks like its taking a shear hit.....

It sure looks like it but that's normal wear on every AR I've owned since buying my first in 1979. Although it has happened so far I've never had one break.

100% normal. I've never seen a used one without that wear.
