How bad (if at all) will a slightly canted brake/comp affect accuracy? My brake is slightly canted, not much but visible to the eye. Maybe ~5-7 degrees. Once it's zeroed is there anything I really have to worry about? |

Won't affect it at all. If it's a brake that requires timing, then that could affect how the recoil is handled, such as the ports being pointed a little to one side would cause the rifle to move away from that. It is possible it could work better set off a little bit to the left, given a barrel with a right hand twist, to counteract some of the torqe the gun produces. |

Quoted: Depends on the brake. A brake with a larger bore would have no effect. If the brake is a small bore inside, such as the diameter is as small or close to the diameter of the inside of the barrel it may. Similar to the FSC556 break. How does the diameter of the break affect the bullet? Is it the way that the gases escape around the bullet? |
