Welp, finally broke. My old unbranded hand me down armors wrench spanner nub finally broke off. The lock nut installation was really all I used it for any more so I won’t likely get another Swiss army wrench. But wondering if anybody recommends a specific spanner wrench to replace it? Or if anybody knows the size I could get from somebody like Fox? |

@neight There are several hook type spanner wrenches available online from various vendors that utilize interchangeable tips, in many cases in kit form. Many are fairly inexpensive. I picked one up years ago at a local Walmart for sub $20 that was a fixed pin that was very close size wize and took a file to the pin , it worked well for several builds. I will dig through some boxes and see if I can locate it for brand identification. |

| Why not save all the hassle of buying a pin spanner that won't allow you to torque the nut, and just convert to the later style? Of course, if being period correct is that important, buy a proper tool that will allow you to perform the job as it should be done. |
