I am waiting for a LMT upper. I was a cheap skate and did not order the carry handle to save money. Thinking I would find one on EE for a deal. Now I am wondering what handles will fit. BM, RR, Colt, FN, Armalite? Thanks Bill |

All the ones you've listed should fit fine on a standard picatinny rail. RRA might be your cheapest bet. All the big companies pretty much use the same forgings. Look for the little "A". on the carry handle. Can't remember what it stands for. Its a quality thing. (No, there are no B, C, D, or F carry handles.) |
LMT M4 uppers run the correct F-marked FSB. All except Colt use the A2-FSB for reasons of effeciency and costs. They compensate for this by using shorter carry handles and sometimes shorter flat top receivers. This is not a problem until you use a mil-spec BUIS. Because your LMT is built with Milspec FSB you would be safest using a Colt Carry handle or a mil-spec BUIS like, ARMS, GGG, Troy Id, LMT, etc. Enjoy your new upper . . . it is a good one!
