[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Carry handle sight question

Friend has a Bushmaster carry handle with the A2 rear sight. The problem is that the sight seems to be canted to the left a little. It is brand new. When you bottom and top out the elevation where there is no more spring tension it straigtens up just fine, however, if the sight is in the middle somewhere it seems to be spring loaded to the left quite a bit. I will post photos later but has anyone else had this problem or am I being too vague and hard to understand with the explanation? The A2 sight does not line up with the channel of the cary handle is what I am trying to say.

Do a search. Its normal, and supposed to be that way.

I will do that. I have never seen one this canted and I was told that this was an issue with BM carry handles.

I am not that familiar with the carry handles as I usually run flip sights instead.

Actually my friend wants to trade it for a flip sight to go behind his Aimpoint but we wanted to make sure it was good to go before sending to someone else.
