Can anyone recommend a good scope mount for my A2, one that will not loose zero as I shoot? Or are all of the single screw A2 mounts prone to loosing accuracy?

Try the ARMS #2. It has a very tight fit in the U shaped section of the carry handle. It also is a "return to zero" mount when you take the scope assy off. There are others less expensive and most will do the job, however the ARMS #2 is a certainty.

I agree with JohnM, the ARMS #2 mount is great, I have one and I use the ARMS #21 scope rings with it. It is the best setup for an A2 carry handle set up.
