I just shot my brand new .22 conversion and had one problem. A few times each magazine it would fail to go into battery. It ejects the empty fine, cocks the hammer and strips the next round fine but I have to push the bolt forward with my finger to get it into battery. I did not clean or lube the Ciener bolt because it was brand new, and I didnt have any in my range bag so I couldn't try it at the range. Any suggestions? Thanks |
| If lube doesn't change things then you may want to check what Martin and Tillman cover in their book. Apparently some Ciener kits have very strong extractor springs and that excess tension can keep the bolt from closing. Fiddling with the extractor tension can cause FtEj and FtEx so go slow. |

Tweak, I lubed the hell out of it then wiped it down and it seemed to function better. So I put a couple drops on the rails and will try it tonight . I do not know what book you are talking about. Could you tell me what the name of it is and where to get it? Thanks |
