Mine is accurate enough. I am not being a smart ass, I am just saying that for what I wanted it for, blasting and close training, it does the job very well. Within 50 yards it is pretty much as accurate as I can be with a red dot and I am shooting some CRAP ammo. |
Mine goes in easy enough but it takes some work getting the conversion back out. It does shoot very good though. |

I have several uppers and the ceiner fits tight in one of the uppers. I've had to lightly tap it to get it to seat. You also have to pull pretty hard on the charging handle to get it out of the upper. It functions very good and have seen no adverse wear. I'd say probably only a couple thousandths difference. I just lube Ceiner with clp before inserting in the upper. |
Your friend's gun is shooting about par for the course with that combination. Your Spike's, however, is not. If it were mine, Mr. Spike would be getting the opportunity to see if he could do better. A dedicated .22 AR upper with a proper .22 barrel should be shooting into 1" at 50 yards with plinker-grade ammo--or better. |
