[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Changing stock

Hey Guys. I have a DPMS ar that has the standard stock (non-collapsible). I want to change it out to a mag-pul or something similar that fits my shoulder better, at least an adjustible stock. Does the old stock just unscrew? If someone could help with a few steps that would be great. Thanks
