Looks good. What did you do with your old stuff? (scope, rail, vfg) Just wondering maybe you looking to sell them.

Sold them. All I have left is the PRI mount and it's listed in the EE. I kept the buttstock and put it on my other AR.

I really like the before, but the after isn't to bad either. I hate the MOE hand guards...I have a rifle with them and I want to vomit every time I look at them.

nothing wrong with that at all...if you don't need the rails all they do is add weight.

Your reworked AR is almost a clone of what I am working on right now. What do you think it weighs? Is that a light weight barrel? I want to keep the rifle I am building light as possible.

How do you feel about going from the IMOD to the CTR? I can never get enough of the IMODs sweet cheekweld goodness

No it's not a lightweight. I don't have a scale but it is significantly lighter without the Aimpoint M2 and the rails and vfg.

I'm used to both but the vltor definitely has a better cheekweld
