Who makes one to go in place of the Charging Handle? I am building a side charger and ran across one earlier but cant remember which of the 50 websites it was on. THanks

I never understood the point of a side charger. Are there any added benefits over a regular rifle?

Ease of use with arthritis, cheek risers, straight-pull bolt guns in places like the UK, single load target applications to load/charge with one hand, etc.

I could use a couple too for my bufferless ARs, never really got around to making any.

American spirit arms makes a side charger, but no idea if they use a plug?

They do, but it's a proprietary upper, and won't fit a standard upper.

I know ASA has the standard CH opening blocked on their sidechargers. Don't know if they sell it separately.
