| I am almost done putting together my 6.5 Creedmoor semi auto. I used a Fulton Armory upper/lower side charge. My problem is this upper is milled for a charging handle as well. Does anyone know if there is a plug made that I can put in there to fill the gap/hole? My fear is gas/dirt blowing in my face and I just don't like the look of a hole there. I have not been able to find anything on the web and fear I'm going to have to get a machinist involved to custom make something. All help and ideas are appreciated. |

Are you getting gas in your face? You can put RTV silicone around the stock handle and it will stop most of it.
Check with several online sources that deal strictly with the NRA high power community. Creedmore Sports Champions Choice Ask John Holliger @ White Oak Armament, he'll have one or know where to find one. There is nothing wrong with leaving the stock unit in place, it will be helpful if you ever break the side charging handle. |
| That's what I'm looking for. I want a smooth, functioning look. I don't want to fill a hole with silicon on a $2k gun I built. Do you have any schematics on this design or an idea of what would get me close? I have access to a full machine shop but want a good idea to get started. Or if anyone else knows where I can get a plug like that please let me know. |
