Where's the cheapest place to get AR barrels?  I thought one of the forum sponsors had them for about $125, but I can't remember who it was.

I don't recall ever seeing a barrel for $125....and I was just shopping the other night. I bought mine from PK Firearms for $235

other than the site sponsors (for new barrels) check the EE for used barrels.

You can get them at http://akpartskits.com/welcome.html or Blackthornproducts.com for a
$125.00 for a 16" Hb and or a 16" M4 profile I think for $ 129.00  ea in 5.56, reg steel others different lengths also around the same price some maybe  higher thou ,and theres also www.sherluk.com that has there 16" or 20  Hb for $ 139.95 ea for regular steel ones there are more out there but most likely not cheaper ,This may be what you was thinking of.

I hope this was of some help just check the places that have kits for sale most will sell you just the Barrels too like J&T, DEL-TON ,and the ones already listed.

Good luck,

yls

Read the reviews of Blackthorne before you decide to drop coin there. Too many horror stories for me.

Like they said, keep your eyes on the EE as good deals go fast there. If you want new, DPMS has quality barrels for $170. They are back ordered by a few months though.

+1 On MidwayUSA.

Model 1 sales barrels are good to go for a cheaper build. They are even cheaper if you have a C&R FFL.
