Can anyone recommend a good Cerakote applicator that has equally good prices? I'm looking to have a receiver and barrel done for a 20 gauge auto. Figured you guys would be the ones to ask!
I also want to make sure bead/sand blasting is included, IDK if parkerizing is necessary or not, especially if the barrel is already "matte blued".

If you'd have asked two days ago you would have saved 30% at Olympic Cerakote. They ran that sale for over a month. Everywhere else I've looked is currently about the same price. Someone will hopefully be along to post a good deal for you.

Search local. My local paint/powdercoat shop is doing it now.

I bet someone close to you is doing it.

Search locally.  It depends where in Florida are you in.  In Central Florida, there are about three or four companies are doing Cerakoting that I can give you as information.

Battle Tech Armory in Edgewater Florida is good to go.  Give John a call and He'll get you taken care of.  Great prices.

You said "cheap" which means you risk a sub par coat.

Biggest thing for any finishing work is prep. You better degrease the hell out of your gun yourself. I don't expect them to spend too much time on it for cheap.

Do it yourself. Ive painted dozens of parts, guns and misc stuff around my house and it only costs me paint, time and a little electricity to heat my oven.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread... but I've been kicking around the idea of getting my well-used Browning High-Power MK III refinished. I ran across these guys.. Their prices seem too good to be true. I priced out a two-tone job using their list of standard colors, and if I send them the gun disassembled, they'll do it for around $150.

Anyone here used them before? Thoughts?

I think I may have answered my own question...

According to this, they blast the parts, and then immediately send them to spray. That's no bueno. From what I've seen, you need to bake them a bit, to off-gas, and to see if any oil leeches out from the various nooks and crannies. If you get oil bleed out, you need to lather, rinse, repeat until there's absolutely no oil on the part.
