Since the search is down I tried searching back for the past month looking for a thread that listed a website with a bunch of different cheaper (<$100) FF tubes, but I couldn't find it.  Anyway, if someone could help me and post it that would be good.

Also what are going to be the difference between the Ameetec $40 FF tube and the $110 CLE tube?  Anything I'd notice while shooting chucks?  I'm not looking to mount any lights or harware to it so simple is best.

Thanks,
Milan

For the sake of having future options I'd recommend a customizable FF tube like shown below.  You can later add rails & accessories if desired.  The unit below is a Yankee Hill tube and they're not at all expensive.

Ditto the YHM tube, and just to put in a plug for BF...I needed a lightweight railed rifle tube for a customer build and he got it to me in two days for a great price.  Very nice to deal with.  Thanks BF!

Go to Model 1 web site at  www.model1sales.com and check out their online catalog. Page 31.
35 bucks + shipping. I really like mine on my calling rifle

I second the Yankee Hill forearm. $80 for a CAR free float tube, and you can add rails later. It really makes your rifle look more unique, not to mention a tad more accurate. Rails come in several sizes to fit your needs, and they come with everything needed for installation. Just get one whether or not you want rails...you might want to add something at a later point. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

ABSOLUTELY...  I have a buddy who bought a tricked out 20", and got the Bushmaster Varminter FFT on it, then a permanently attached muzzle brake

Now, he wants to see about doing some Coyote hunting, which would be SO much handier with a light mounted to the forearm.

When I build another one, it will have the YHM modular rails, and they will come from Bright Flashlights.

I ordered an Ultralight from him on Friday, it arrived MONDAY!  It doesn't get any better than that.

This is $40

Seems nice, you can index it just like the Bushmaster piece.
