| Who sells the cheapest lower on the market? Cast, polymer or forged makes no difference. Thanks! |
+1. Stag Lowers are probally the best quality out there, and there cheap! |

FORGED alumiminum; most any brand will work check out: MEGA, stinger, rra, ametecc, stag, lar, etc--www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Stag_Arms_AR-15_.223_Receiver.html--this is as nice a deal that i have seen lately, great place to order from too (you might as well get 2!) avoid hesse/vulcan expect to pay b/w $89-$115; i would not pay more than that |

JoeKen has some carbon fiber Vulcan receivers for $69. 207.176.137.9/shop/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=144&cat=AR15+Receivers Yeah, I know I said JoeKen and Vulcan in the same sentence, but he asked. ![]() Official disclaimer: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! |
| I bought a Hesse back in the early-mid 90's when they were still pretty new in the market. Like RUN DMC said " Bam, you got beat, It's Not Funny" You get what you pay for, unless you actually buy a Hesse/Vulcan lower. Then you get piss-poor machine work to correct, a poor finish that will cost money to have refinished, and the shame from your friends in the AR community for owning a Hesse after the word has been put out! Now is all that worth saving a couple of bucks? Rock River Armory / Olympic / Bushmaster / DPMS are all good quality lowers all range from 80 to 140, I pick up my Stags tomarrow, so I can't say until then, but reviews have been positive, can't say that for Hesse/Vulcan. But do what you want! |

essential arms has investment cast lowers for about $65 www.essentialarms.com/ edit:$67 for one lower. |
Good to know those are out there. They would probably hold up just fine, but cast is something to avoid, IMO. |
