I just received trigger and was installing it last night. I am putting it into a CMMG lower and the trigger pins won't stay put. I ordered a small pin trigger and the trigger pins just fall out once it's installed. I followed the directions and even had a youtube video going too. What am I doing wrong? do I need special pins for this? Thanks much for any advise

As far as I know those triggers should come with special pins that have a E-clip you put on them to prevent your problem.

If this isn't the case, mic the trigger and hammer pin holes in your lower and then do the same with the CM pins. I suspect one or the other isn't in spec. Good luck.

Is this one of those "drop-in" self-contained trigger groups?

Yup, my CMC trigger uses e-clips to retain the pins.

Mine also came with c clip pins but even without the clips they do not fall out.  Midway has pins with clips but it is not right that you would need to pay additionally for them,  Cmc should correct it.  By the way my trigger is fantastic, wish I could replace  my six others.

Mine too. I had an extra set of KNS pins so they went in instead.
