I need helping choosing rails for my AR. Id like carbine length rails 7".
Ive been looking at the Daniel Defense Omega rails. They look nice but costly. I mainly want these to mount a forward grip and light. |

Have you looked at the NEW Daniel Deffense EZ CARBINE HANDGUARD
TROY DI rails are a solid choice also |

I had a carbine length on my M4 and I hated it. It was just too short for my taste (not to mention I lamented the fact that I had a FF UTF rail on my rifle). This was my weekends project. I can't stop touching it, I'm as bad as my 18 month old and his wee-wee! I did recycle the UTG flashlight for now, it teaches me humility. Its heavy, but not a bad light. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4058/4616817655_5f117eedf7.jpg Its a 13" Troy Extreme Battle Rail. It comes with a 4" and two 2" rail sections that can fit anywhere on the handguard. Without the rails the thing is less than 12 ounces. Bonus, extended length sight radius. That looks very similar to what my 3-gun rifle will be. Nice rifle!! |
