[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Chrome lined?

yep, another thread about chrome lined barrels

a friend of mine sent me a couple of pics of his postban colt MT6601 barrel's muzzle. I cant tell from the pics if the bore is chromed...I had to email colt to know if mine was CL.
so, what do you think?

honestly its very hard to tell from the pics, but the best way to tell is to clean the hell out of it and look down it with a flash light and see if it sparkles.

The chrome is easy to see in both pics, but particularly the RH pic. It's not shiny like a bumper - as someone else put it, it has a 'pewter-like' appearance. In both pics it is clear that the muzzle and bore are a different color then the uncoated threads. Looking at the chamber end, you'll find it's the same color as the muzzle.

Look for the letter 'C' stamped above the chamber under the handguards.
