With a class II license could you manufacture all the machine guns you want out of any gun you want using whatever technique you want? So for instance if you wanted to build your own version of the "lightning link" you could? Or are there still rules for manufacturing guns? Also what are the requirements for this license. Just a curiosity question, but if it isn't a big hassle I might think of getting one...... Thanks, Wes |
| Ouch... Federal Tax on a Class II license, and regristion fee for the machine gun. Good luck! I don't think you're allow to "Built" your own automatic firearms, I personally think that these licenses are for ownership of the firearms, and not gunsmithing an unique full-auto machine gun. |
| With a Title 2 manufacturing license you can build as many NFA items as you want for sale, but can not be in the business for the purpose of building a personal collection or avoiding paying the transfer taxes. This excludes destructive devices. That's a different license. |
