[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cleaning Chrome

I'm trying hard to figure out why chrome barrels are easier to clean than non-chrome. Even blindfolded I don't notice a difference in resistance when I pull a brush through the barrel. Is it just supposed to take fewer pulls to clean the barrel? I dont see any visible difference in cleanliness with chrome either.
