Hello, I have been reading up on the posts for the cleaning rods and have narrowed it down to Dewey, which I have for my Garands/M14s, and the Bore Tech, swaying to try Bore Tech. But on the length, I couldn't find an answer to this question: The 30" length is reccomended for a 16" barrel which covers my 6920. Link But my A1 clone has a 20" barrel. Does this mean I need a 34" +/- rod for the A1 (which would mean a 36" Bore Tech) , and if so, is there any reason why I couldn't use that on the 16"? Appreciate answer to this newbee question.
