A rag dampened with CLP and a piece of dowell to move it around under the handguard. With my VLTOR VIS, I just pop off the bottom rail––makes it easier .

A shotgun bore mop on a section of cleaning rod. I do the same for the inside of the magazines, but I use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol since the magazines are suppose to be dry.
