I have the retro Colt/Tasco rubber coated scope from a Colt Delta Elite AR. The scope has the fixed flat rail attached to its underside, instead of the two rings that typically hold a scope in place.  Where do I find the four clips and the screw to secure the bottom rail of the scope to the top rail of the Colt A1 vintage scope mount that attaches to the carry handle?  I hope this is clear in my explanation as I wonder why so many reads with no reply...

The Delta AR isn't quite as "retro" as we typically deal with here, but photos often help explain what you're trying to describe.
Is this the mounting system to which you're referring?

(ETA: Well, I guess snapfish didn't like that...)

They aren't clips, they're magazines! Oh wait...

sounds like you're looking for the claw part of the mount.  you might want to call tasco to see if they are available.  short of that, bring your scope and mount to every gun show and hope you find it in someone's parts box.

That part is really hard to find. I have the delta ARMS carry handle mount but have only seen that part sold with the scope - and they are rare. I think the clips themselves are Weaver parts that were refinished with that finish for Colt, but don't remember where I heard that.

I would butcher some older scope rings. There is one in my spare bin id give your but you probably want a match.

Talk about an obscure part.  Are you any good with fabrication? As suggested you could modify a part to fit.  Just might be your only option.

Thanks for that picture; I printed it and will use that for my search.

The arms mount that I have is Colt marked.

I have 3-9x and 4x Tascos with the built in rails.  Thank goodness they came with all the parts.  If I needed a replacement, I would check out Burris.  The attachment method they use on the Eliminator scopes is very similar to the old rubber armored Tascos.  Then I would replace the knobs with those from older weaver scope rings.
