ALL other things being equal; do you think an adjustable stock inherently affects accuracy?

I paired a varmint upper on a lower with a standard M4 coll stock and had some of the best groups I've ever shot.  After I had the dough I bought a new lower with an A2 and accuracy was the same.

Hey thanks.
I was just wondering if the shorter stock affected the recoil impulse and then the timing/accuracy.

Don't know where I heard/read it, that the A2 fixed was always more  accurate?
