[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Collapsible stock question

Living behind the lines, my new Bushy has a collapsible stock that does not collapse. It was built that way. Now there are 2 what look like pins or very small allen screws that prevent it from moving. Does anyone know if these pins/screws are removed will the stock work as intended? Not that I would do it of course because that would be illegal.

No it will not, its a rifle length tube pined to the stock. If you look at the end and you see the tube flush with the stock will confirm this.
