| So I have done some research and I have found everything from crayon to finger nail polish. What is the best way to do it. Any insight let me know. I am not sure crayon is the best way. But I don't want 100% permeant till I see it first. |
| I used nail polish. Let dry and then use brake cleaner to get rid of excess. It took me a few attempts, but if you don't like it, it's not permanent. A good coat of oil after and all looks like it was done at the factory. I have also used this for several handguns and personally like the way it looks. |

I use enamel and then use mineral spirits with a flat edge and some q-tips to clean off the excess or raised portion. This or some Hoppes works well for cleaning up the excess as well. There is a good video of it on youtube where the guy uses a toothpick to spread the enamel. |

Here is the shit for that............Lacquer Stik Research it and see how simple and clean this process is .... |
