I just found some today so I decided to pick up 5 since I had no 20s.  They were $12.50 each which I didn't think was such a great deal but I haven't looked at used 20s before.  What would you say is a decent deal on them?  Straight 20 with alloy follower,  Colt floorplate, look well used but no dents of any kind and the feedlips look good.  The only marking on the body is an IU looking symbol on the front bottom of the mags.  He has a ton of these and plenty with Adventure Line floorplates.

ETA: did some research and the IU symbol is really UI(Universal Industries, which made Colt's mags) and the mags were made 1969-71(at least the floorplates)

Are these NIW mags?  If not there is no guarantee that they are really Colt.  Floor plates, springs, followers etc are all interchangeable between other 20s.

No, these mags look pretty old, no NIW. I was hoping someone knows who the IU UI(Universal Industries) symbol belongs to.

What do you mean about "who the IU symbol belongs to"?  You answered it in your first post??? They are probably Colt, but if they are early 20s which are hard to counterfeit it doesn't matter since they are all the same.  You got a good deal.

UI is also CH...look at the stamp from a different angle.  I believe it also stood for Colt Hartford.  All my Colt mags have that stamp.

The reason that I asked, is that years ago, I saw at a gunshow NIW 20s.  The guy had one of package of them open, I think they came in packs of 3, and it had the rampant Colt, Hartfort Conn on the floor plate.  He had many unopened ones.

I think i'm going back and get a few more of the Colt's and some of the Adventure Line.  I been thinking of getting some of the new NHMTG 20s but the quality of the old Colt 20s looks better than the new NHMTG 30s I have.
