Were the 'SMG' marked 635's (9mm) built on A1 or A2 type lowers?

I haven't been able to find a wealth of marking or SN information on these.

Both lowers. Most transferable ones were A1s though.

NDS makes a good 635 clone lower.

They actually don't anymore. They're out of grey 635 lowers, and say they're not making any more. But they did have black ones in stock still when I ordered mine a few weeks ago.

My original 635 upper was black anyway. I bought two of the blems, one black, one grey, intending to SBR the black one - I ended up selling the whole thing a couple years ago when things were tight. I still regret it. The grey lower is now holding a 6933 upper built as a pistol.

Thanks guys. Braceman already engraved an 80% for me but I was debating having it A1'd prior to completing it. Looks like that's the plan.
