| Looking really hard at one of these brand new. I have searched this forum and there are alot of different opinions on what ammo the 1/7 barrel will perform best with. I tend to shoot whatever I can get my hands on within my budget range which includes mostly 55gr FMJ ammo. I understand that the 1/7 will perform better with the heavier rounds but what about standard 55gr military ball stuff? Can someone who owns a 6520 share their experiences with the lighter rounds?!? |

| It looks like the 55gr. should work well with the 1/7. I usually shoot at between 50 and 100 yds using sand bags and iron sights with my bushmaster A2 with average 1" accuracy so it seems logical to expect similar results with the Colt. Thanks for your assistance USMC! |
