I was wondering how Colt 6940P owners like their rifles.

Love mine. As said, can't go wrong with a Colt

| I purchased my LE6940P In december 2012, It has a chromed lined one piece BCG. Serial number LP00141*. All of the current production 6940P's with one piece BCG are not chromed lined. It also has a SOCOM profile barrel with the flats under the handguards. Has anybody seen a one piece BCG that is chromed lined? I paid double the MSRP because My colt guy said it was one of the first off the production line. |

He told me it was one of a kind prototype. I dont know this to be true, But he said that it was & when I opened the factory sealed box & seen it I dropped $4,000 on it. Does ANYBODY else have one like this? Hoping it super rare, since I spent $4,000 on it. Serial number LP00141*. Anybody with an LE6940P with serial numbers between LP001400 - LP001430 I would like to hear from you. Chromed lined? |

How available are the 6940p's? Wally World actually had a 6940 in stock this weekend, but no "p" versions.
All places I've checked designate " out of stock/email me to notify when back in stock". So is it basically a wait and see numbers game when one will pop up for sale? |

No but it don't bother me because I sold 2 restricted 6920's during the panic $6,780. More less I traded in two restricted 6920's for 1 LE6940P & 1 LE6920 SOCOM. |
