I hate to say it but I'm not sure of what I have, so I'm asking the pros for help.  I have read several posting on this site about Colt AR's, some mentioned Green lable and some mentioned White lable.  What I have is a Colt Goverment Carbine with an A-2 upper.  The rifle was bought right after the ban started.  The serial number is GC01866?. Going by this web site it would be a post ban gun, but on biggerhammer.com the the GC0186## group is on an indivdual bases.  Barrel marking are C   MP 5.56 NATO 1/7.   The forward pin is not a push pin, it is a  flathead screw type.  There is a block in the lower reciever. I'm planning on selling this rifle for an M-4 type and I need to know what this is and approximatley what it is worth.  The rifle has a 2 position stock. Thanks to all that respond.

Nope!  It is an unmarked LEO postban.  Colt did not mark the LEO models as such until 1995.

Yep to both! Technically it is an AR6520 which is LE vs. the R6520 which is civvy.

Thanks to all that responded.  Bascially all I have is a plain Colt AR, nothing special.  I was planning on asking $1200 for it.  Is that to high? Also would it be worth paying the $50 bucks to Colt for their letter?
