[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt Blue Label Lower

I am looking at buying a used AR15 colt blue label lower. it looks like it has a big pin over the selectoron the ejection port side, not on the other side though. I think this is part of the sear block on these, but have never seen one in person. Is this normal on these guns?

It is normal.

The single pin sear block (appears on the right side only) is the most desireable.

I would also make sure it has a small front takedown hole and is drilled for a pushpin.

If it uses a large hole 2 screw front pin, that is not desirable.
