Where can I send my lower to get it anodized in Colt Gray? I don't want it painted. thanks Scott |

Is it a Colt you have? If so Colt will refinish (or so I have heard). It takes a while but I have heard they will nonetheless. Other MFG. will do this as well, in their production colors. Just need to show some finesse when you ask. Worked for me.. Edit: You can also try TECHPLATE ( I dont have a website add. for them) I believe they can as well. They are out of CA. Turnaround is like a week IIRC. |

Try John Norrell Arms : http://www.molyresin.com/default.asp His dark grey moly resin is a dead-on match for the Colt Gray. I did an 80% project with that finish and at arm's length you can't see the difference, it looks just right. So far I've had good luck with this finish on several different guns. I did blast the lower with 100-grit sand before applying the finish as per instructions. |
