Hey guys! I have been away from the Black Rifle world for a bit and am diving back into it with a new LMT piston on order, should be here by the end of the year. I am still going to buy the LMT but I think I want to get a Colt as well. I figure there is a very good chance that AR will be banned and the Colt is not only a good rifle but a good investment. I came across a dealer with new Colt LE6920 for $1,249 and no charge for credit card, shipping is $15 insured. CDNN is $1399 for the same rifle and the same terms. Is $1,249 the best price I can find? This seems to be pretty good for an out the door delivered price. Any input on pricing or reviews of the rifle would be great! Thanks! David |

I would have who ever is selling look the rifle over for finish problems before they mail. Especially scratches. That way you wont have a problem like several others who received scratched Colts. If there is a ban and parts cannot be bought, Colt may be hardest to find. good luck

I couldn't believe it either - those will be sitting there for a while. User rallen over on sigforum.com is selling them for $1,195 Shipped - I'll be picking mine up from him, if there's any left! |

I just ordered mine. The guy is gone for a week but set one a side for me for when he gets back. I figure it along with an LMT piston should be 2 great AR's to have in my collection. After I get them all built up I am onto a AR in 308 for increased range and stopping power. Nothing like trying to get this all done before they have time to ban them. Worst case if you can't sell or transfer them I will have the best of the best. Thanks guys! David |

I've bought two Colt 6920s in the past month. One from a Dallas gun show and one from Bachmans in Dallas, Tx. Both rifles are perfect in every way. Dead on accurate right out of the box. Neither one required any windage adjustment to zero at 100yds. Several Bushmasters I've owned required windage adjustment so bad that the rear sight was cranked all the way over to one side. No so with Colt's. Neither rifle has jammed or malfunctioned in any way. No blemishes or marks of any kind. I wish I could buy a dozen more. The Colt 6920 is truly the gold standard of AR-15 rifles. |
1 of those 26 is mine ! He's a little closer to me from here ,but I sent him a bank check and got my 6920 in 5 days . That includes a 3 day weekend for Columbus day . He ships fast . If I raise the coin before he sells his inventory I'm getting another one from him . |

Gunbroker's got em for $1175 plus $20 shipping. Then add 3% if you use CC, then of course the dealers transfer fee. I almost pulled the trigger on one today, would have been $1235 shipped but I didnt. So Im at the mall lookin around in Dick's sporting goods and stumble across a Benelli SuperNova tactical shotgun for the price of an ebay Eotech, $379!!!! 5 minutes later it was mine. Well, I bought it but cant pick it up for 3 business days.
I wouldnt want to be the burglar that breaks in my house. Ouch. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i198/chjapa/SuperNova-12ga-tacsyn-pggrs.jpg |

Nice find on the Supernova Tactical. I have the same gun in Desert Camo and love it although I would prefer black. I also paid a good bit more than 379 LOL. Thanks. I never purchase before research, but from what Ive read Benellis are awesome! Hey, nchapa, did you buy from Tanners??? Everything went smoothly? What are the small pins? (noob alert )

I have LOVED mine. I have only one complaint and that is stripping it down. You have to pop off the recoil pad and then remove the stock completely to remove the Trigger group, bolt, etc. Overall I see this as minor however since I don't strip it down to clean that often. I am debating some sort of Red dot for mine but so far have resisted. Quoted: Quoted: Nice find on the Supernova Tactical. (noob alert )yes I bought from tanners, used the buy it now option yesterday, paid it today and send the ffl this evening, will ship out on monday, smooth as can be. I asked mr. tanner if the rifles had the small or large pins, he said they all had the small pins. Colt had been manufacturing all there AR type rifles using a .170 diameter trigger and hammer pin, and "mil-spec" calls for a .155. recently like in march colt started using the "mil-spec" .155 pins, so now it is probably the most mil-spec AR out there. Pins really dont make a difference the large pins were added to keep civilians like us from using an auto sear in their rifles. another reason to get the .155 pins, is because the fire control group in this diameter is easier to find and more available. |
