Looking at getting my first ar. After researching I think this is what I want(colt le6920mp) unless someone can tell me a reason not to.
What can I expect to pay? I see retail is $1229.00 can one be had for a grand or less.
Any comments greatly appreciated.

DSG Arms had regular 6920s for $945 and had a free shipping code in their industry folder. Thats as cheap as any new Colt gets.

6920s are great rifles! For myself I would rather have/shoot  something in a mid-length. Spikes makes a good mid-length as well as BCM and others.

The Colt LE6920MP-R is a Talo limited edition, 1500 made.  I ordered several and the best price I could do with a dealer I've worked with heavily was $1125 each...  If you're thinking of the SP6920MP-B you'll find them in the $1075 range, the LE6920MP-B is listing at a higher price, the only difference between SP and LE is rollmarks...  The SP6920 can be had for under 1k...
