Does anyone know the thread size on the buttstock sling loop on either the carbine or full sized stock?? It "seems" like 12-28 but that is a real oddball. TIA.

The thread is the same as the buttstock bolt.
That one is an oddball size.
I think off the top of my head that 12-28 is correct.
I'll look to make sure when I get a chance.

TexSquirrel is correct, 1/2x28 tpi for the standard 5.56mm M16 series. The 9mm is 1/2x36 tpi.
