| I picked up a new , Colt , M4 , heavy carbine barrel at the Knob Creek machine gun shoot today for $100 for a carbine build. It has one notch for a taper pin already cut , and the gas hoe drilled . Do I need to find a Colt carbine base/gas block, or are the dimensions standardized and any carbine base should work ? Thanks, JR |

They are drilled together. You would need to send it to a gunsmith. |
