We scored an uber-rare Colt SCW Sub-Compact Weapon from the factory and thought we would share a couple videos with you all! This is a select-fire 5.56mm M4 style PDW. The stock can be collapsed, folded and side-folded. The upper receiver is a standard monolithic 10.3-inch barrel upper with the SCW proprietary BCG/Buffer.
Unlike the aftermarket side-folding adapters out there, this is a complete system (unique bolt carrier group / buffer / receiver extension combo) that allows you to fire the weapon continuously while the stock is folded! Accessories on the weapon are as follows: Trijicon MRO red dot sight, and a SureFire M300 scout light w/ pressure switch

Yes they are roll marked SCW and the serial number starts with SCW prefix
This was a very limited production weapon that made it into the hands of some US special operations groups and Israeli special operations. Not many were produced and I don't know of any other dealer samples that got out into circulation other than the 2 we have. Due to the complexity of the stock design and time it takes to produce each unit Colt decided to discontinue the design and has reworked the SCW, the new model should be announced around SHOT show this year, it is not a side folder, it will be that telescoping design A number of the original complete SCW stock assemblies w/ bolt carrier groups may become available through us shortly, stay tuned! |
