[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt SP1?

Trying to figure out if I have a run of the mill colt or if it might be one on the better ones to ownHere’s
Short 11.5" barrel with 5.5" solid flash suppressor on it Solid meaning cant remove.
Upper receiver has C M stamped on it
3 position collapsible stock
Model is stamped SP1
Ser. SP 41XXX
Lower is stamped with
Colt's Patent firearms Hartford,Conn. USA mfg co
Barrel has 5.56 stamped on it between the flash suppressor and the front sight.

OK that’s it what can all you experts tell me possible year of weapon and price in good condition. Any info will be more that what I know about it thanks.

Any other markings on the barrel like twist, mp, C, etc? I'm not sure what you mean by run of the mill as a Colt is a Colt IMO.

No I cant see any other marking but then agian I really don't know what I am looking for. Run of the mill means did they make a lot of them or are they somewhat of a collectible I just don't know that much about what I have so looking for some direction.
