I have a local guy that has a complete CH code SP1 upper with Colt BCG, charging handle, original barrel in very good condition, he is asking $500. that sounded high to me, what would be a fair price to pay for this? Thanks

Depends on the condition of everything. If all parts are in great shape, mmmm-probly. They are usually more in demand by people who have an SP1 they are restoring. Not sure how common that is.

You might place this in the appraisal thread and get more definitive responses.

The price is top of the mark, I would offer $450.00 for it.... Break it down.. Barrel Assembly $275.00, CH $30, BCG $150.00, Receiver $125.00 HG's $20. Total - $600.00 but when buying complete uppers, you never wanna pay top dollar.

I think $500 is a fair price. Not a lot of people are just selling the uppers.
