I have a colt sp1 in 95% no box and a low serial # (9xx).  According to Colt, the gun was made in 1963. I'm not looking for offers. I just need to know the approximate value for insurance reasons. please answer as fast as possible, i need to inform the insurance adjuster tomorrow. thanks in advance for your responses.

I would search Gunbroker.com for the past six months for AR-15s.  There should be numerous examples of SPs going across the block that you could use.  Never tried to print a Gunbroker page, but if you can, you would have written documentation.
