Looking for instructions on how to remove the sear block from a Colt Sporter. Can anyone provide guidance?

I believe either Quarterbore or Biggerhammer had a "How-to" on this

But why do it?

Installing RDIAS?

Just curious.

The reason I want to remove the sear block is to install a Geissele trigger.

Removing or simply grinding the block flush allows you to drop in new production Colt uppers (M16 carriers) on existing Sporter lowers.

ETA--Provided they are small pivot pin Sporter lowers.

Thanks, but the lower I want to remove the sear block from has the large pin.

I was just giving another example why someone would want to take out the block.
(directed toward refisher since he asked why)

The reason i mentioned small pivot pin lower was that new production colt uppers are small pin as well.
