I have a colt sporter II (2) upper. It has the forward assist, but not shell deflector. It has an A2 front sight and round handguards, but A1 carry handle and rear sight. It is a large hole slab side lower as well and it has a few Colt markings and other marking on the upper. It also has what appears to be an SP1 carrier.
1. Is this considered an A1 or A2? 2. What sort of upgrades can I do to this? Can i put the barrel onto a flattop upper, and switch out the front sight post for an F marked one? 3. How much is the upper half worth? The round count is unknown, the upper receiver has a few dings in it, but everything else looks good. Thanks in advance! |
You have pre ban 1990 AR15 A2. 24'' It is a still A2 Colt made two types target sport and Heavy barrel.
