Lets say u wanted an M4 style rifle, 14.5" with 1/7 twist. U had your choices narrowed down to either the Colt LE6921 here: http://www.colt.com/law/lecarbine.asp or the DPMS M4 here: http://www.dpmsinc.com/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=RFA2-M4A Which would u choose and why? Thank u AG. |

The DPMS item you posted is only 4140 steel, is not chromelined and is a 1/9 twist. For a 14.5", chromelined, 4150 steel,1/7, you have three options; 1) The [url=ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=22&t=174919]CMMG/DPMS[/url] barrels and uppers on the EE! These barrels are a CMMG exclusive. 2) call [url=bushmaster.com]Bushmaster[/url] and see if they have any left in stock. 3) pay 2X-3X as much for a Colt barrel, if you can find one. |
