My dealer has one, but I am wondering what a good price is?  It is a blue-box and low serial#...

I want to get it, but need to know what to look for...did they come with any options?

Early pre 87 pre sear block $1700. Post sear block $1000 to 1100.

This is Colt's standard A2 carbine.

It features a fixed carry handle, which is an out-dated design for some, but if you are looking for a great shooter and don't plan for future optics, etc. it is the ticket.

Has a 16" lightweight barrel and A2 FH.

Comes std. with 2 magazines, cleaning kit, sling, and manual.

Consider the model 6721 or 6920, if a flat-top upper is preferred.

You can always put an M16 upper and a Compact ACOG on.

It should come with 2 20 or 30 round mags, GI sectioned cleaning rod, bore brush, chamber brush, patch loop, and manual in a taped shut clear plastic bag. The carbine should be wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve.

Of the Colt carbines I perfer the 6520 over all others except the 653. Good luck on getting a 653 though.

I bought a NIB 6520 this past summer for $1050. Accessories included 2x20 round magazines, sling, sectioned cleaning rod and chamber brush.

I'm looking at making my 20"er into one.  How much do they want for it?

So the 6520s have M4 ramps right?  There are a lot of Colt pencil barreled A2 receiver upper on the market right now that don't.  What the heck are they?

mine is 1/7 with M4 ramps

If I could find one for that I would buy it.  They are $1250-1500 in my area.

They're listed as $1,069.00 at Clyde's but he's out of stock right now.  Maybe put an order in for one and they will eventually come down the pipeline.

I got one a couple of months ago too and I didn't pay for it either.

No kidding.

I got mine as a bonus at my job, my boss got an S&W M&P AR with the railed handguard.

I love my job!

will clyde armory sell to an individual to be transferred to an ffl?  they have a 6920 for 985.  I think I may want it...but it says(Agency)...obviously not the price for an individual...

Clydes will sell to an individual--the category you need to look at is "Individual Officer", not Agency.  Their current price as of yesterday was $1349 for the 6920, but their website said they didn't have inventory to ship to individuals, but did have inventory for agencies.  The site said that inventory for individuals was "Incoming".
