It's my understanding the original Colts had better QC so thats what I'm looking for. Last week my Hakko disassembled itself in my face.

My Hakko did the same thing. I replaced it with an ACOG. Every cloud has a silver lining.

A friend has one of the orig 3X COLTs (Early one) I can see if he wants to part with it.
