I received an answer to this but lost my notes. Please bear with me.

I want to install a Bushmaster .22 Carbon upper on my preban Colt lower with the large front pivot pin hole. I was told there was a particular make adapter pin I should order. Please reply again. Thank you, Bill

Yep, Bushmaster has one. Part number NES-06. Around $6.00. It'll mate a small hole lower to a large hole upper.

Thanks for the tip. I also recall getting a suggestion on getting it from another company, but can't recall the name. Thats why I had to repost. Bill

Could have been Brownell's. Or DPMS. Or just about anybody who carries AR parts.

CDNN sells a good conversion pivot pin for small hole uppers and large hole lowers which stays in place compared to other brands.
