I don't come 'round here much, I stick mostly to the AK and handgun sections.
I'll make this short and sweet, what is the real world value on Colt marked 20rd mags? I looked around the EE and found no good answer. I know like everything else the value will depend on condition, lets say not new but damn near. Thanks |

Thanks A typical used USGI (or commercial) Colt-marked mag right now runs about $15. Genuine never-been-used mags in wrappers can go up to $30 |

The only Colt magazines I will buy are 20 rounders... I will pay $20. I only buy the older style ones... .223 marked ones, for example. Other than that... I try to avoid Colt at all costs. They are traitors... screwing up their rifles in ways gun banners haven't even thought of... That, and I won't buy PMags from cheaper than dirt when they are $40.... I'm not going to buy anything from Colt when they charge 50% more for their butchered junk. |

It really does... Colt sickens me... What kind of rip off company builds rifles that use non-standard parts... only for the purpose of having non-standard parts? Their pivot pin, their FCG pins... non-standard on their "sporter" rifles. What is even worse, they use an excuse that helps the gun banners. They claimed they made the FCG pins a different size so you couldn't "accidentally" install a FA FCG... except the only problem is there is still no hole for the pin for the auto sear... it has nothing to do with preventing "accidents" and only makes it sounds like AR15s are these menaces that go full auto with a few parts that could easily be changed by "accident"... that sure sounds good. It is obviously so that you can't use any other company's parts to repair their rifle... you have to buy their rediculously priced parts to fix their rediculously priced piece of non-standard junk. Colt is in no way a friend of gun owners. If I were an unreasonable person, I would say anything with a Colt mark on it is worth LESS than other products.
